πŸ’¬ Chat Enhancements: Editable Chat Names + Prompts Button

We’re improving the chat experience to make it easier for users to organize and navigate conversations. ✏️ User-Editable Chat Names Current Behavior: Chat titles are auto labeled with the agent’s name, which can make it difficult to locate a specific conversation. What’s Changing: Users can now rename chats by clicking an β€œEdit” button next to the Delete option. Enterprise Users: Members can edit only the chats they own If no custom name is provided, the agent's name will continue to display by default. πŸ’‘ New β€œPrompts” Button We’re also adding a β€œPrompts” button within each chat, giving users quick access to relevant or saved prompt templates for smoother interactions. These updates will make managing, finding, and working within your chats faster and more intuitive. Let us know what you think once it goes live!

πŸ” Investigating Google Doc Integration Warning

We're currently investigating a warning users see when attempting to use our Google Docs integration: "Google hasn’t verified this app. The app is requesting access to sensitive info in your Google Account. Until the developer verifies this app with Google, you shouldn't use it." ⚠️ What’s Happening? Google displays this message when an app has not yet completed its OAuth verification process. This is standard for new integrations requesting access to certain types of Google data. πŸ§ͺ Temporary Workaround: To proceed if you trust the app: On the warning screen, click "Advanced" Then click "Go to echobase.ai (unsafe)" Follow the remaining steps to authorize access ⚠️ Only proceed if you are comfortable continuing with this unverified integration. We are actively working to resolve this. πŸ”§ Next Steps: Submit the app for Google OAuth verification Review and minimize requested scopes where possible Keep users informed once the app is fully verified We’ll remove this warning as soon as Google completes the verification process. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

🚧 Downgrade Experience: Query Blocked by β€œToo Many Requests” Error

We're currently investigating an issue affecting some users after they downgrade their subscription plans. 🧾 What Happened? A user downgraded from an Enterprise plan to a Professional plan and was unexpectedly blocked from running queries β€” even after just a single request. The error displayed: β€œToo many requests, try again later” The user also reported confusion around when their downgrade would take effect, expecting continued access to the higher-tier features until their billing cycle ended β€” since they had already paid for it. βœ… Expected Behavior: Users who downgrade should still: Retain access to their original (higher-tier) plan limits until the end of their billing cycle. Be able to run queries according to the correct current plan limits. ⚠️ Current Behavior: Users may be rate-limited incorrectly right after downgrading. Downgrade timing and access changes are not clearly communicated. This creates confusion and may lead to loss of trust or churn. πŸ”§ Proposed Fixes: βœ… Investigate and correct rate-limiting logic for downgraded users. βœ… Ensure users retain functionality from their previous plan until the billing cycle ends. βœ… Improve in-app messaging during plan changes to clearly explain: What features are retained When the new plan limits take effect We’re working to resolve this ASAP and will post an update here once fixed. Thanks for your patience! πŸ™

🐞 Bug Fix

πŸ’³ Price Card Updates & Button Verbiage Improvements

We’re refining the billing page experience to better reflect a user’s current plan and provide clearer actions based on their plan status. βœ… What’s Changing? For Enterprise Members/Admins: Main Price Card CTA: The current enterprise plan card will now have a disabled grey button labeled β€œCurrent Plan.” This helps eliminate confusion and accidental clicks. Secondary CTA: A new β€œLeave Group” button will appear below the Current Plan button. Styled like the "Cancel Subscription" button. Clicking it will prompt a confirmation dialog before leaving the organization. For All Users: Plan Tier Labeling Logic: On the billing page: For higher-tier plans, the CTA will say β€œUpgrade” For lower-tier plans, the CTA will say β€œReduce Plan” The label β€œSelect” will be removed for better clarity These changes help users understand their plan status at a glance and make more informed decisions around billing actions.

⏸️ Account β€œOn Hold” Functionality

We’re introducing new logic to gracefully handle accounts with billing issues or manual holds. πŸ“ What’s Changing? Accounts that enter a billing lapse or are manually flagged will be placed β€œon hold” for a short period, during which all product features will be temporarily disabled. βœ… Key Behavior: Temporary Hold Periods: Enterprise accounts: 7-day hold after failed billing Individual users: 5-day hold after failed billing After the hold period ends, if billing is still unresolved, accounts will be moved to the Starter (free) plan. User Experience: On-hold users will see a dialog notification preventing feature access. Enterprise org members/admins will be notified when their organization is put on hold. This improves how we handle failed payments or paused accounts, giving users time to recover before losing access.

πŸ› οΈ Upcoming Plan Management Improvements

We’re making plan changes smoother and fairer! Here's what’s coming soon: βœ… Better Cancellation Handling Current: Cancelling your plan drops you to the free tier immediately. Coming Soon: If you cancel your plan, you'll keep your current plan limits until the end of your billing cycle. ➑️ No more sudden downgrade! πŸ“¦ Smart Plan Switching (Upgrade/Downgrade) Whether you're upgrading or downgrading, your unused limits will follow you. Example Upgrade: You’re on the Individual plan with: πŸ—¨οΈ Chats used: 10/30 🎨 Images used: 10/10 You upgrade to Professional. Instead of starting fresh, you’ll get: πŸ—¨οΈ Chats: 10/75 (30 + 45) 🎨 Images: 10/30 (10 used + 20 new) These rolled-over limits last until the end of your new billing cycle. After that: your usage resets based on your new plan. ⏳ Status: In Progress We’re currently: Exploring Supabase’s support for automated limit resets πŸ” Building a new system to track and carry over limits πŸ’‘ You’ll see this rolled out in the next few weeks. We'll keep this board updated!
