We’re introducing Tags to help you better organize, filter, and navigate your chats, prompts, and projects inside EchoBase.
Tags will allow users to label and categorize content across the platform—making it easier to group related items, search by topic, and stay organized.
You’ll be able to apply custom tags to:
💬 Chats – Tag conversations by topic, client, use case, or workflow
💡 Prompts – Group reusable prompts by theme or function
📂 Projects – Add tags to better organize and filter your project list
➕ Create and assign tags to chats, prompts, and projects
🏷️ Multi-tag support per item
🔍 Filter by tag on relevant dashboards (e.g. “show all chats tagged ‘marketing’”)
✏️ Edit or delete tags across your workspace
🌈 Color-coded or styled tags for visual clarity (design under review)
Tags will be user-specific in the first release
Enterprise-wide shared tags and tag management are planned for a future release
No automated tagging based on content (may be added later with AI assistance)
Tags will not yet be available for file uploads or analytics dashboards
No tag-based permissions or access control (tags are organizational only)
As your workspace grows, staying organized gets harder. Tags help by:
Allowing quick filtering by project or purpose
Supporting non-linear organization (items can belong to multiple categories)
Improving discoverability of older or related work
Tags are currently in the design phase. Development is expected to begin soon, with rollout to early testers later this year.
