We're introducing Notepad—a simple, built-in space where you can jot down ideas, draft content, take notes during chats, or store quick thoughts without leaving EchoBase. Think of it as your personal scratchpad, always accessible and always tied to your workflow. ✍️ What is Notepad? Notepad will provide a lightweight, persistent space for freeform writing. Development is expected to begin this quarter, with release targeting mid-2025. Want to know how Notepad works? Stay tuned here for updates.

💬 Chat Enhancements: Editable Chat Names + Prompts Button

We’re improving the chat experience to make it easier for users to organize and navigate conversations. ✏️ User-Editable Chat Names Current Behavior: Chat titles are auto labeled with the agent’s name, which can make it difficult to locate a specific conversation. What’s Changing: Users can now rename chats by clicking an “Edit” button next to the Delete option. Enterprise Users: Members can edit only the chats they own If no custom name is provided, the agent's name will continue to display by default. 💡 New “Prompts” Button We’re also adding a “Prompts” button within each chat, giving users quick access to relevant or saved prompt templates for smoother interactions. These updates will make managing, finding, and working within your chats faster and more intuitive. Let us know what you think once it goes live!
